Homer J. Woodall

Homer J. Woodall, age 92 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, Georgia following an extended illness.


Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. C. Grey Norsworthy will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 12:00 noon till 1:00 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Woodall was born November 20, 1920 in Cornelia, Georgia to the late Arthur Woodall and Lila Sosebee Woodall. He was retired from General Electrical as a Sales Representative and was of the Baptist Faith. Homer was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Roberta Patton Woodall.

Mr. Woodall is survived by his son and daughters-in-law, Jack & Susan Woodall of Suwanee and Chris & Mary Beth Woodall of Cumming, daughter and son-in-law, Cathy & Chris Leeman of Cumming, 4 grandchildren and brothers, Paul Woodall of Stone Mountain and Ernest Woodall of New York.
