Frank Brannan passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Cleveland, GA. Friends will be received at the home of Greg and Lauren Vitek at 5181 Little River Drive, in Gainesville immediately following the service. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Brannan was born August 26, 1932 in Pennsylvania. He served two years with the Army in Europe during the Korean conflict. He is retired from the Harford County Maryland School System where he served as a teacher, principal, and supervisor of curriculum. Following retirement he was employed at Disney World in the transportation department for ten years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna, and by his daughters, Lauren Vitek and husband Greg of Gainesville, Lynn Adams and husband Wayne of Clermont, Maura Fonzi and husband Jeff of Bel Air, MD, and son Dan of Bel Air MD, grandchildren Matthew and David Osani of Bel Air, MD, Alan Vitek and wife Lauren of Gainesville, Brannan Vitek of Gainesville, and sister Barbara Iachini of Verona, PA.
Donations may be made payable to "Our Lady of Grace Education Center," and mailed to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 1243 Hulsey Road in Cleveland, GA 30528.
