William Clyde 'Buddy'Shubert,

William Clyde "Buddy" Shubert, age 77 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Gold City Nursing Home in Dahlonega following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Dwayne Ryals will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Shubert was born April 3, 1936 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Harvey J. Shubert and Ara Haynes Shubert. He was retired from Blue Circle Concrete Company and was preceded in death by his parents and a number of brothers and sisters.

Mr. Shubert is survived by his daughter, Kathy Baker of Gainesville, sons and daughters-in-law, Mark & Tia Shubert of Gainesville and Michael & Becky Shubert of Oakwood, son, Roger Shubert of Gainesville, grandchildren, Madi Shubert, Heather Sebelius, Shannon Kendall, Shawn Baker, Tiahe Simmons, Shane Shubert, Josh Shubert, Seth Shubert and Chasity Mandel and brother and sister-in-law, Frank J. and Linda Shubert of Gainesville.
