Sally Lou Umberger

Mrs. Sally Lou Umberger, 81, of Gainesville, GA. passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013.



Born in Detroit, MI. on August 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Dorothy Dolby. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Mrs. Umberger had been in Gainesville over 40 years.



In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grant Umberger.



She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Nancy and Greg Smith of Gainesville, GA; son and daughter in law, Gary and Marie Umberger of Flowery Branch; son, Scott Umberger of Cumming; loving friend, Martin Gaither of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Barney and Kay Dolby of Minnesota; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.



A private Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday July 19th. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Christ Lutheran Church. Rev. Mike Freeman will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.



In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
