Bobby Gene Dale, Sr

Bobby Gene Dale, Sr., age 74 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following and extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Hicks and Reverend Donnie Nix will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 and Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Dale was born August 3, 1938 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Pratt Dale and Kathrine Franklin Dale. He was retired from Hugh Smith Farm and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bernice Cecilia Mansfield Dale and his son, Ricky Junior Dale.



Mr. Dale is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Eva & Donald Ingram of Cumming, Barbara & Jimmy Brownlee of Duluth and Joyce & Stevie Moore of Gainesville, son, Bobby Gene Dale, Jr. of Gainesville, brother, Howard Edward Dale of Cumming, 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
