Robert James Hooper, Sr

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Robert James "Bobby" Hooper, Sr., 75, of Commerce who passed away early Saturday morning at the Northridge Medical Center. Born in Jackson County, GA, he was the son of the late Doyle and Wretha Owensby Hooper and was married to Jean Haynes Hooper of the residence. Other survivors include a son, Rod (Angie) Hooper of Commerce, a daughter, Beverly (Larry) Brookshire of Greer, SC, a brother, Jimmy Hooper of Maysville, granddaughters, Alyssa Brookshire and Anna-Marie Hooper, grandsons, Dusty Brookishire and Stacy Brookshire and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 12 Noon from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Jimmy Hooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service.
