Mr. Clarence (Clay) Thomas Brunet, Jr., age 49, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Thomas Brunet, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Brunet, Buford, GA; son, Cyle Brunet, Buford, GA; mother, Delores Hale Brunet, Metairie, LA; sister and brother in law, Robyn and David Pierce, Suwanee, GA; brother and sister in law, Craig and Dina Brunet, Metairie LA; nieces, Abby and Ashe Ricks and son Rowen, Slidell, LA and Kati Graiser and fiancé, Kyler Keegan, Metairie, LA; nephews, Colin Brunet, Baton Rouge, LA, Colby Brunet, Metairie, LA, Cooper Brunet, Metairie, LA and Stuart Pierce, Alpharetta, GA.

Mr. Brunet was born November 23, 1963 in Metairie, LA and was a graduate of Stuart Preparatory High School in Metairie, LA. He proudly served our country as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a Paramedic Firefighter from Dekalb County after twenty-three years of service. He had an incredible love for family. He was very much loved by his family and friends and was generous to all with his loving attention and care.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Walters and Rev. Leah Cunningham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Another Memorial Service will be held later in Metairie, LA and interment will follow at Lake Lawn Cemetery in New Orleans.
