Charles L. Barr, Jr. age 85 of Buford, GA, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 after an extended illness.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Dr. David Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Barr is survived by his wife, Mary Barr, Buford, GA. Sons and Daughters In-Law, Chris and Hilary Barr, Buford, GA, Sean and Lisa Barr, Cumming, GA. Daughter and Son In-Law, LuAnn and Doug Jordan, Buford, GA. Grandchildren, Justin Barr, Zach Barr, Brain Jordan, Amanda Jordan, Morgan Barr, Lauren Clark, and Mattison Clark. Brother and Sister In-Law, Wallace and Joanne Barr, Lake Mary, FL. Several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Barr was born in Phoenix City, AL and had lived in the Atlanta area for the past 60 years. He was self-employed as a mechanical engineer, he was a member and past Potentate of the Atlanta Temple of the Yaarab Shrine, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church.
