Martha Raye Kilgore Head

Mrs. Martha Raye Kilgore Head, age 75, of Dillard, GA passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil "Mutt" Kilgore and Willie Dee Kilgore; and brother, Douglas Kilgore. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Cecil Head, Dillard, GA; children, Skip and Renee Head, Lawrenceville, GA, Bo Head, Asheville, NC and Mark Ledbetter, Asheville, NC; granddaughter, Charli Grace Head, Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Patricia Kilgore Allison, Flowery Branch, GA; sisters-in-law, Judy Head Thomas, Lula, GA and Sue Kilgore, Flowery Branch, GA; niece, Cindy Tipton, Lula, GA; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Head was born May 28, 1938 in Flowery Branch, GA. She was a 1956 graduate of Flowery Branch High School. She was co-owner of C. M. Automotive in Buford, GA. She was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

Mrs. Head's request was to have no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Eagle Ranch, P.O. Box 7200, Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502 in memory of Martha Head.
