Barbara Jean King

Mrs. Barbara Jean King, age 53, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center with her family by her side.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the funeral home.

Mrs. King was born on October 19, 1959 in Bronx, NY and was the daughter of the late Mary (Lewis) Haslinger. She was the Co-owner of King Green and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother.

Mrs. King is survived by her husband, Charlie King of Flowery Branch; daughters, Jennifer King and Amberly King both of Flowery Branch, GA; brother, Jeff Haslinger of Cumming, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Rose Marie Haslinger of Atlanta; Greg and Anne Haslinger of Cary, IL; mother-in-law, Jean King of Jonesboro, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
