Gayle Rice Martin

Mrs. Gayle Rice Martin, age 59, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Northeast GA Medical Center in Gainesville, GA following a short illness.

Mrs. Martin was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County, a homemaker, and member of the Fountain Worship Center in Dahlonega.

Gayle is survived by her husband, Shannon Martin, Dawsonville, GA; parents, Bill and Evelyn Rice, Dawsonville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Jim Smith, Dahlonega, GA; brother, Kevin Rice, Dawsonville, GA; special aunt, Mae Powell; special nephews, Zachary Johns, Michael Trump, and Ezra Bowen. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Gayle are scheduled for 3 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Fountain Worship Center in Dahlonega.

Rev. Bo Robinson and Rev. Edwin Puckett will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Sunday from 2 PM until 9 PM, all day on Monday, and again on Tuesday until time of service.
