Ellen Faye Pinson

Ellen Faye Pinson, age 84 of Murrayville and Henderson, Nevada, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, July 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Henry Loggins officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 2:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pinson was born May 19, 1929 in Lumpkin County, Georgia to the late Charlie and Lona Seabolt Crow. She worked for McKibbon Brothers as Office Manager and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was a member of the Pilot Club for 37 years and a member of the Red Hat Club. Mrs. Pinson was preceded in death by her husband, Ned B. Pinson; sisters, Ozelle Lewis and Katherine Lee; brother, Hershel Crow.

Mrs. Pinson is survived by her daughters, Trudy Pinson Couch and Vicki Faye Pinson both of Murrayville and Henderson, Nevada; special pets, Bailey, B.J. and Buttercup; special nephew, Gary Crow of Henderson, Nevada; sister-in-law, Maxine West of Gainesville; brother-in-law, Harry Pinson of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humane Society of Gainesville & Poodle Rescue Organizations.
