Alfred Davis

Alfred Davis, age 73, of Monroe passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013.

He is survived by his sons James Lee Davis and Linda of Bishop, Michael Keith Davis of Monroe; daughters Sheila E. Thompson of Monroe, Melissa Hopkins and John of Covington; brothers Phil Davis of FL, Herman Davis and Carol of Loganville, Ricky Davis and Genevia of Athens and sister Mae Pullins and Wesley of Covington; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Davis and daughter Teresa Ann Rogers.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery, 1054 Old Thompson Mill Rd., Hoschton, GA, 30548. Rev. John Briscoe will be officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.
