Excell Lee Davis

Excell Lee Davis, age 79 of Lula, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Oaks of Limestone following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Dr. Fletcher Law will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis was born October 10, 1933 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William Davis and Pearl Saltzman Davis. He served in the U. S. Army and retried from E. V. Camp Steel Company. Excell was of the Methodist Faith.

Mr. Davis is survived by his son, Excell Davis, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly Ann & Bobby Garbutt of Lula and Julie Ann & Rob Smith of Daytona Beach, Florida, son, Gordon Lee Davis, grandchildren, Robert Brent Garbutt, Jennifer Anne Whitmire, Sean Andrew Whitmire, Gordon Lee Davis, Jr., Amanda Lynn Davis, Tiffany Lynn Davis, Lindsey Leigh Davis, Brandon Thomas Smith and Austin Davis Smith and 3 great-grandchildren.
