Margaret Pittman Whelchel

Margaret Pittman Whelchel of Gainesville passed away June 22, 2013 following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday June 24, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Stone and Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 Sunday at the funeral home.

She is survived by three sisters, Jimmie Lou Pittman of Maysville, Lucille Martin and Hazel Hudgins both of Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Whelchel, and brother, Eugene Pittman.

She was employed at Georgia Chair Company.
