Ann Anderson

Ann Anderson, 76, of Dawsonville passed away Friday June 21, 2013 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Born October 29, 1936 in Forsyth County to the late Ford E. and Nancy Pearl Phillips, Ann lived most of her life in Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, she formerly owned and operated Ann's Dress Shop in Dawsonville after which she assisted in the operation of Silver City Carpet. She was of the Baptist faith and was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert L. "Bobby" Anderson; son, Ricky Anderson; and a brother, James "Jim" Phillips.

Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Phil and Judy Anderson; sister, Sara Hughes; sister in law, Betty R. Love; brothers in law and sister in law, Gene Anderson, Dan and Vanita Anderson, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Joel Anderson, Julia and Corey Ray; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Ray; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 24, 2013 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Corey Ray will officiate. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 until 8 at the funeral home.
