Glenn D. Elliott

Glenn D. Elliott, age 77, of Suches, GA, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at his home in Suches.

Glenn was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Suches. Glenn worked for the Union County Board of Education as a maintenance worker and school bus driver.

He was the son of the late Kaiser Elliott and Carrie Pearl Towe Elliott and was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Elliott; infant brother, James Elliott; brothers, Anthony Elliott and Glover Elliott.

Glenn is survived by son, Glenn Dale Elliott, Suches, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Rosalie and J.C. Cambron, Dahlonega, GA; brothers, J.D. Elliott, Gainesville, GA, Charles Elliott, Rome, GA; grandchildren, Christy Elliott, Courtney Elliott, Priscilla and James Reagin, and Russell Cambron; great-grandchildren, Sage Reagin and James Reagin. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Glenn are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Dr. Don Pruitt and Rev. Glenn Kough will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Saturday from 3 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday from 9 AM until 2 PM.
