Gloria A. Farmer

Gloria Anne Farmer, age 62 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Habersham Medical Center.

Ms. Farmer was born November 3, 1950 in Buford, GA to the late Henry and Eunice Roper Whiting. She was formerly employed at the White County Courthouse and was of Baptist Faith. Ms. Farmer was preceded in death by her brother Aaron Whiting.

Survivors include her son, Billy Farmer, Ramstein, Germany; grandchildren, Francesca, New York; Alex, Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Angela Farmer, Charleston, SC; ex-husband, Jimmy Farmer, Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Whiting, Sugar Hill; Barbara Huckeba, Cleveland; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Michael Adams, Cleveland; Kathy and Shorty Bellotte, Homer; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Matt Pruitt and Judge Garrison Baker will officiate.

The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
