Kathryn Jean Powell

Mrs. Kathryn Jean Powell, 57, of Gainesville, GA. passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.



Born in Carthage, MS. on October 27, 1955, she was the daughter of Gene W. and Maxine Harrison Felder. She was a social worker with the northeast Georgia Medical Center. She attended The Highland United Methodist Church.



She is preceded in death by her brother, Gene Michael "Mike" Felder.



She is survived by her husband, David Arthur "Art" Powell of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn Powell and Dane Gustafson of Gainesville; parents Gene and Maxine Felder of Hattiesburg, MS and brother, Paul Felder of Hattiesburg, MS.



Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Coleman will officiate. Interment will be at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, in MS. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
