Silverio Acosta

Silverio Acosta, age 41 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm in St. Michael Catholic Church. Interment will be at a later date in El Salvador. Father William Canales will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm at his residence, 267 Green Hill Circle, Gainesville, Georgia and Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at the St. Michael Pastoral Center, 622 Shallowford Road, Gainesville, GA 30501.

Mr. Acosta was born June 20, 1966 in Launion, El Salvador to Celestino Acosta and Hilaria Santos. He was employed with Mar Jac Poultry and was of the Catholic Faith.

Mr. Acosta is survived by his wife, Edidt Acosta, his parents, Celestino Acosta and Hilaria Santos, his daughters, Heydi Y. Acosta and Claudia C. Acosta and his son, Darwin J. Acosta.
