Jerry Keith Abernathy, age 56, of Dacula, GA passed away June 13, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Susan Black Abernathy, children Erin Elisabeth Abernathy, 22, and Kyle Brandon Abernathy, 17, mother Martha Bentley Abernathy and brother Michael Ray Abernathy. Jerry graduated from the University of Georgia and was a manager at Macy's systems and technology. He was a devoted UGA football fan and amazing son, husband and father. Jerry was a compassionate soul who moved quietly through life affecting many without realizing it. He will be missed by many friends, family and coworkers.
A visitation will be held at Celebration Church in Hoschton, GA on Monday June 17, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. The memorial service will be officiated by Mike Day and David Davis at Celebration Church Tuesday June 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, you may leave condolences at www.hamiltonmillchapel.com.
