Clarence R Melton

Mr. Clarence Rufus Melton, 77 of Cumming died Monday June 10, 2013 at his residence.



Born in Manila, Arkansas, Mr. Melton had lived in Forsyth County for a number of years. He was retired from Melton Inspections where he was the owner/operator.



Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law; Jerry and Peggy Melton, Cumming; daughter-in-law; Owanda Fulghum, North Carolina; sister, Wanda Jean Dicicco, Tacoma, Washington; sister and brother-in-law; Millie and Bob Brackett, Buchanan, Michigan; brother-in-law; Fred Marsh, Buchanan, Michigan; granddaughter, Tina Oterro, Florida; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.



Mr. Melton is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Louise Melton who died in 2007; sons, Joseph Melton and Christopher Melton and a sister, Joyce Marsh.



Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday June 17, 2013 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
