Ricky Moore

Ricky Moore, age 50 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Lanier Hills Church with interment to follow in Flowery Branch City Cemetery. Reverend Randall Popham and Reverend Mark Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Moore was born February 10, 1963 in Athens, Georgia to Dan Ellis Moore and Sara Coker Moore. He was employed with Gainesville Marina as a Service Manager and was a member of Lanier Hills Church. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Dan Ellis Moore.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 31 ½ years, Suzanne Moore of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Molly and Nicholas Nigro of Gainesville, mother, Sara Coker Moore of Athens, step-mother and husband, Moncell and Hugh Blackstock of Gainesville, brother, Fredrick Moore of Gainesville, sisters, Carol Daniel of Athens, Cathy Sorrows of Athens and Donna Hutchens of Athens, brother, Terrell Moore of Athens, step-brothers, Micky Cain of Jefferson and Ricky Cain of Dawsonville, special niece, Ellie Moore and a host of other family and friends survive.
