Oleta Ruth Ezell Goodger

Oleta Ruth Ezell Goodger, age 93 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Goodger was born September 24, 1919 in Sanger, TX to the late Harvey Wyatt and Edna Mae Mauldin Ezell. She was a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church and a longtime member of Hope Sunday School Class. Mrs. Goodger was an avid quilter and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Goodger and brothers, John Ezell and Charles Ezell.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Barbara Goodger, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Vayon and Russell Smith, Bozeman, MT; Vickie and Allen Schoppe, Fulshear, TX; brother, Billy F. Ezell, Sanger, TX; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from Cleveland First Baptist Church. Dr. Mike Davis and the Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday, June 10, 2013 at the funeral home.
