William Rudolph Griffin

Mr. William Rudolph Griffin age 86 of Gillsville passed away on Friday June 07, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.


Graveside services will be held Monday June 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Gary Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday June 09,, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Mr. Griffin was born on March 18, 1927 in Gillsville, Georgia to the late William Leander Griffin and Omie Buffington Griffin. He was retired, and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Clara Janet Griffin.


Mr. Griffin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Anne Griffin of Acworth, son, Timothy Griffin of Gillsville, son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Kim Griffin of Gainesville, grandchildren, Stacey Griffin, Candace Wilbanks, Amber Pirkle, Timothy Griffin, and 5 great-grandchildren, Skylar Wilbanks, Chesney Wilbanks, Bryce Wilbanks, Makenna Pirkle and Rudy Griffin and special friend, Leiann Gunter of Gainesville.
