Donald Maxwell

Mr. Donald Maxwell, age 65, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Mary Helton Maxwell, Flowery Branch, GA; daughter, Dolly Maxwell, Flowery Branch, GA; brothers and sister in law, David Maxwell, Sevierville, TN and Paul and Pam Maxwell, Sevierville, TN; sister in law, Dianne Phillips, Maysville, GA; brother in law and sister in law, Michael and Melba Helton, Hoschton, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Maxwell was born January 28, 1948 in Sevierville, TN and was a veteran serving in the United States Marines. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Mulberry Baptist Church in Hoschton, GA.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Wilson, Rev. Ollie V. Hayes and Rev. Mike Helton officiating. Interment will follow at Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery in Hoschton, GA with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
