Clarence William "Bill" Cheston

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland, announces the death Mr.Clarence William "Bill' Cheston, age 84 of Cleveland. Mr. Cheston passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013.

Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00am, Saturday, June 8, 2013 from Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Paul Flynn officiating.

Bill was born on December 14, 1928 in Florida to the late Clifford W. Cheston and Dorothy Lewis Cheston. He worked for several years as a Construction Engineer and later as an Inspector. Those who knew Bill knew him as a man of both Spiritual as well as physical strength, he always had a smile and positive word for those whom he came in contact with.

He was a member of Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church and was preceded in death by his brother, Richard and sister Eleanor.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbi Cheston, Cleveland; sons, Charles Wayne Cheston, Gainesville, FL., and Robert Cheston of Pompano Beach, FL.; daughters, Dorothy Mumaw and Karen Church both of Royal Palm Beach,FL. and Kim Spurling of Zellwood, FL.; he is also survived by his ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
