Nora Patrick Ward

Nora Patrick Ward, age 50, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, formerly of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013, following a sudden illness.



Mrs. Ward was born on February 11, 1963, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Morris C. Patrick, Sr. and Jean Smith Patrick of Cornelia, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucinda L. Patrick Rogowski; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Sadie Smith; paternal grandparents, Carl and Nellie Parker Patrick; and brother, Morris C. Patrick, Jr. Nora was associated with Gatlinburg Memories in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was of the Apostolic faith.



In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Carl W. Ward, Pigeon Forge, TN; daughters, Jessica Gilstrap and Jeanelle Crozier, both of Pigeon Forge, TN; sister, Marsha Marie Patrick, Cornelia, GA; and eight grandchildren.



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Michael Patrick and Evangelist Morris C. Patrick, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.



The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the funeral home.
