Robert M. 'Bob' Knox

Mr. Robert M. "Bob" Knox, age 82, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Barbara J. Knox, Buford, GA; children, Robin Knox Puckett and husband, Andy, Buford, GA, Paula Jean Knox, Chattanooga, TN and Robert "Tony" and Judy Knox, Braselton, GA; grandchildren, Chris Knox, Hunter Puckett, Drew Puckett and Maggie Knox; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Myrtice Knox, Memphis, TN and sister, Lou Frances Knox, Memphis, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Knox was born September 24, 1930 in Yorkville, TN. He was a 1948 graduate of Yorkville High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, TN. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a retired Sales Representative from G.T.E. Telephone Co. in Atlanta, GA. He was a member of the Buford Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Mr. Jimmy Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to AGAPE, 3094 Mercer University Drive, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30341 or to Buford Church of Christ in memory of Bob Knox.
