Joan Wilkins Beall

Mrs. Joan Wilkins Beall, age 62, of Suches, GA, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013.

Joan was a lifelong resident of Suches, GA, and had spent several years in Douglasville. She had retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Suches, GA.

Joan was a loving "Grammy", wife and mother; and was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her.

Mrs. Beall was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wilkins; father William Junior Pruitt and brother, Tony Pruitt.

Joan is survived by her husband Ben Beall; mother, Alma Pruitt, Suches, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Ashley and Candi Wilkins, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Bobby Miller, Suches, GA; daughter, Tracy Wilkins, Kennesaw, GA; step-daughter and step son-in-law, Rebecca and Chad Jenkins, Hiram, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Marianne Pruitt, Suches, GA; Mark and Terri Pruitt, Hogansville, GA; grandchildren, Abram and Elin Wilkins, Jayce, Poppy and Eli Jenkins; nieces, Morgan Pruitt and Morgan Rutledge; nephews, William Pruitt and Tyler Rutledge; extended family, Thelma Tow. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Joan are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Zion Baptist Church in Suches, GA.

Rev. Gerald Edmondson will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches, GA.

The family will receive friends from 2 PM until 4 PM, and 6 PM until 9 PM, Monday, May 27, and 9 AM until 1 PM, Tuesday, May 28 at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega.
