Lottie Mae Wilson Tate

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Lottie Mae Wilson Tate, 97, of Cumming, formerly of Pendergrass, Ga. who passed away Saturday May 25, 2013.

Mrs. Tate was born in Jackson County, Ga., a daughter of the late Columbus Washington and Inora Fields Wilson. Mrs. Tate was a1937 graduate of Martin Institute and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tate was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Frank Hubert Tate.

Survivors include son, Benny Darrell Tate (Ann), Acworth, Ga., daughter, Delores Tate Lashley (Lee), Cumming, Ga., Delaine Tate McCarthy (Mac) Roswell, Ga., Eddie Hubert Tate (Lillian) Duluth, Ga., brothers in law, Howard Tate, Eastman, Ga., and Odis Tate, Pendergrass, Ga., 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives survive.

Funeral services will be Tuesday May 28, 2013 at Mt. Creek Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Billy McCarthy and Mr. Eddie Tate officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with grandsons honored as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home on Tuesday May 28, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:45 P.M.
