Ina Marie Brown Shirley

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Ina Marie Brown Shirley age 77 of Danielsville, who passed away on Thursday May 23, 2013 at Northridge Medical Center. Mrs. Shirley was born in Madison, GA on March 1, 1936 to the late D.L. Brown and Ruby Swaims Brown.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Shirley was preceded in death by her previous husband, Walter Austin. Survivors include her husband Billy Shirley; daughters, Shirley (Mike) Porterfield of Danielsville and Gladys (Larry) Phillips of Winterville; grandchildren, Jason (Tonya) Phillips of Winterville and Nathan Phillips of Winterville; great grandchildren, Brianna Phillips, Morgan Phillips, and Payton Phillips; brother, Billy Brown of Toccoa; step-children, Donna Kerns of Dahlonega, Deborah Hill of Canon, Randall Shirley of Bowman, Sharon Wilson of FL, Todd Shirley of Dahlonega, and James Shirley of Bowman; 11 step-grandchildren; and 5 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday May 26, at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with Rev. Jason Phillips, Rev. Larry Phillips, and Rev. Gettis Allen officiating.
