Beattie F. "Red" Giles, age 91, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Meldagonde "Millie" Giles, Buford, GA; sons, Larry Wayne Giles, St. Louis, MO and George Giles, St. Louis, MO; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dean Erickson; daughters-in-law, Judith Sinn, Buford, GA and Eva Hughes, Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Tammy Arrington, Buford, GA, David Sinn, Buford, GA and Chrystal and Jason Hughes, Lawrenceville, GA; great grandchildren, Tashina Sinn, Tonya Bowman, Sonya Sinn, Teisha Ledure and Tim Sinn, Scott City, MO and Wesley and Johnny Arrington, Buford, GA; and several great great-grandchildren.
Mr. Giles served in the Merchant Marines. He was a retired baker. He was a member of the Buford Senior Citizens at the Buford Senior Center. He was a member of McEver Methodist Church.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Cole officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
