Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Sandra Claudine Looney, 63, of Athens who passed away on Tuesday at the St. Mary's Hospice House in Bogart.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lilie Bell Brown Looney. Survivors include her children, Melissa Ann Smith of Ila, Marvin Claude (Tina) Scoggins of Ila, Darren Michael (Melissa) Scoggins of Commerce, Darrell Lee (Julie) Scoggins of Maysville; 4 brothers; 1 sister; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with interment following in the Howington Cemetery in Nicholson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-9 PM.
