Jacky Johnson

Mr. Jacky Johnson, age 71, of Oxford, GA and formerly of Buford, GA

passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and O'Dell Fowler Johnson; and brother-in-law, Charles Bruce.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Linda Whidby Johnson, Oxford, GA; children, Gina and Matt Wright, Oxford, GA and Tina and Chip Moore, Oxford, GA; grandchildren, Alyssa Wright, Marissa Wright, Christina Wright, Garrett Moore and Addison Moore; and sister, Sarah Johnson Bruce, Buford, GA.

Mr. Johnson was born April 30, 1942 in Buford, GA. He was a 1960 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was retired from Dolco Packaging Corporation in Lawrenceville, GA after thirty-five years of service. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Ash officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with military honors.
