Marie Ann Bailey

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Marie Ann Bailey, 68, of Jefferson, who passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013.

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. Bailey was a daughter of the late Henry John and Olivia Kramer. Mrs. Bailey was a retired as a dietician with the New Hanover County North Carolina Board of Education. Mrs. Bailey was a member of Academy Baptist Church in Jefferson, Ga.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Spero Bailey.

Survivors include her daughter, Nicole Bailey Willkes, Jefferson, Ga., sons, Ken Bailey, Jr., Scott Bailey, and Joe Bailey all of Wilmington, N.C., sisters, Sandra Tarr, Raleigh, N.C., Barbara Brown, Raleigh, N.C., brothers, John O. Kramer, Baltimore, MD., Rick Kramer, Wilmington, N.C., Mike Kramer, Baltimore, MD., grandchildren, Taylor Wilkes, Bailey Wilkes, Isabella Bailey, Christian Dean Bailey, Brennon Bailey and Noah Bailey and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be Friday May 17, 2013 at Academy Baptist Church at 7:00PM with Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church before the service and after the service.
