Carlotta Lewis Simpson

Mrs. Carlotta Lewis Simpson, age 86, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald H. Simpson. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Harold B. Simpson, Buford, GA; son, Michael Simpson and Judy Cairo, Los Angeles, CA; daughter in law, Nancy Simpson, Buford, GA; grandson, Alex and Diane Simpson, Buford, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Simpson was born February 13, 1927 in Canton, GA. She was a graduate of Cartersville High School and was co-owner of College Press Inc. in Forest Park, GA. She was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. She was a former longtime member of First Baptist Church of Forest Park where she was very active in Sunday school and a choir member.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Reverend Craig Dale officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Please omit flowers.
