Margaret Sheppard

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Margaret Ann Sheppard, age 71, of Gillsville, Ga. who passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013.

Mrs. Sheppard was born in Weaverville, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Harlan and Kathryn Gentry. Mrs. Sheppard retired from WinCup, where she was an inspector, after many years of service. Mrs. Sheppard was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sheppard was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Hollifield, and brother, Wilburn Gentry.

Survivors include her daughter, Katrina Dickerson, Gillsville, Ga. sons, Tommy Hollifield, Mars Hills,N.C. and Tony Felkel Weaverville, N.C. sister, Betty Carland, Weaverville, N.C., brother, Johnny Gentry, Marshall, N.C. and 8 grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
