Juanita Irene Payne

Mrs. Juanita Irene Payne, age 78 of Commerce died Thursday, May 09, 2013 at Northridge Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Payne was born in Eatonton to the late, Oscar and Zonnia Eller Griffin. Mrs. Payne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce and was retired from City Radio and TV. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Payne was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Payne.

Mrs. Payne is survived by her daughters, Debra Farmer of Nicholson, Linda Hawks of Commerce, and Beth Haggard of Athens; brother, Harold Griffin of Eatonton; sister, Sylvia Carlan of Lawrenceville; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 10th at 2:00 PM from the First Baptist Church of Commerce with Dr. Carlton Allen officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 7-9 PM.
