Nelle Holcomb Moon

Graveside services for Nelle Holcomb Moon, age 86, of Cornelia will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Clarkesville City Cemetery. The Reverend Tom Mewborn will officiate.

Ms. Moon died May 6, 2013 following a period of declining health.

Ms. Moon was born in Clarkesville, Georgia on August 2, 1926. She was the daughter of the late George Burton and Cora Lee Trotter Holcomb. Ms. Moon was retired from Dekalb county as a legal secretary. In addition to her parents, Ms. Moon was preceded in death by her son Larry Cook, brothers James Holcomb and Walter Holcomb, sisters Louise Holcomb Burke, Zelma Holcomb Kinnimer and Winona Holcomb Amos.

Survivors include her daughter Jean Cook Buckner of Cornelia, brother and sister-in-law Corbett and Barbara Holcomb of Waycross, Georgia, one grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
