E.T. Hulsey

Obituary Date: Sunday, May 5, 2013
Mr. E.T. Hulsey, 91 of Chicopee died Sunday May 5, 2013 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.



A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Hulsey was the son of the late W.N. and Lucy Bagwell Hulsey. Mr. Hulsey was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing and served in the United States Army during World War II, serving in all of the major campaigns in Europe. He was a member, deacon and sunday school teacher at the Chicopee Baptist Church.



Mr. Hulsey is preceded in death by his wife; Mildred Davis Hulsey; siblings Theora Reed, Della Ree and James Barker, Elbert and Christine Hulsey, and Elro Hulsey.



Survivors include his daughter, Betty Kunruether, Raleigh, North Carolina; sons and daughters-in-law; Bill and Lynn Hulsey, Dawsonville; Bob and Aletha Hulsey, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law; Mary and Rick Kiser, Braselton; grandchildren, Julie and Patrick Daughtry, Wake Forest, North Carolina; Todd Hulsey, Dawsonville; Carrie and Kevin Shockley, Gainesville; Meredith and Aaron King, Griffin, Four Great Grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law; Willene and Elmer Chastain, Flowery Branch; Nellene Wallis, Flowery Branch; brother and sister-in-law; Aaron and Polly Hulsey, Oakwood; sisters-in-law; Johnnie Ann Hulsey, Flowery Branch; Elizabeth Davis, Clermont. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 7, 2013 at the Chicopee Baptist Church. Rev. Phil Carpenter, Rev. Darin Vogt and Rev. Randall Hulsey will officiate. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Monday May 6, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.



The family of Mr. Hulsey would like to say a special thank you to the Chic-fil-A Breakfast Club, Friends and Neighbors of Chicopee Village, Bell-Minor Nursing Home staff and Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.



In lieu of flowers the family has asked the memorial contributions be made to the Chicopee Baptist Church Building Fund, #13 First Street, Chicopee, Gainesville, Ga. 30504 or Eagle Ranch, P.O. Box 7200 Chestnut Mountain, Ga. 30502.
