Mr. Lewis William Warren, age 79, of Morganton, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Effie Warren; two brothers; and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Rochelle Hudson Warren, Morganton, GA; children, Linda Kaminsky, Sugar Hill, GA, Robert and Joan Taylor Warren, Sugar Hill, GA, Michael Warren, Morganton, GA, Melinda and Chip Foster, Jackson, GA and Jimmy and Kristin Warren, Buford, GA; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Margaret Nix, Cleveland, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and two brothers-in-law. Mr. Warren was born December 10, 1933 in Floyd County, GA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Union Local 225. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Michael O'Brien Johns officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or to your favorite charity.
