Grover Lee Sullens

Mr. Grover Lee Sullens, age 65, of Lula, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 following an extended illness.

Mr. Sullens was born and raised in Lumpkin County, and had spent the past 30 years in Banks County. He was a farmer and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Grover was the son of the late J.C. and Lula Anderson Sullens, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Coralee Boggs and brother-in-law Johnny Garner.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Callene and Harry Grant, Cleveland, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Clifton and Jerrye Sullens, Commerce, GA, Eugene and Margaret Sullens, Lula, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Vernell and Clinton Gooch, Braselton, GA, Glenda Garner, Dahlonega, GA.; brother-in-law, Lake Boggs, Clermont, GA, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Sullens are scheduled for 3:00 PM Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Interment will follow in the Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 2 PM until 9 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 and 10 AM until time of service Thursday, April 25, 2013.
