Mrs. Betty Westbrooks Martin, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, J. L. Martin, Jr.; parents, George and Luvenia Dollar Westbrooks; three brothers; and six sisters.
She is survived by her children, Stanley and Sarah P. Martin, Buford, GA, Larry and Patsy Martin, Flowery Branch, GA, Winton and Carol B. Martin, Buford, GA, Joyce and Curtis Westbrooks, Buford, GA, Joe and Shan Martin, Buford, GA, Janice and Ricky Gilliland and Crystal Queen, Buford, GA; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Martin was born August 9, 1922 in Buford, GA. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church in Buford, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Campbell officiating.
Graveside Service and interment will follow at Island Ford Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA with Kevin Merck officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
