Thurmon Lonzo Miller, Sr.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m Wednesday April 24, 2013 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Thurmon Lonzo Miller Sr. age 93 of Gainesville. The Rev. Floyd Higdon and Rev. Shane Turner will officiate. Interment will follow in Springway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Miller passed away Monday April 22, 2013.

Mr. Miller was born in Hall County to the late Allen Miller and Dolly Cook Miller. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He retired from the New Holland Mill and was a member of Springway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first Wife Ruby Gilbert Miller, Sons, Tony Anthony Miller, Fred Ricky Miller, Brother, S.R. Miller, Sister, Floyellen Smith.
Survivors include his Wife, Emma Lou Miller, Gainesville, Son, Thurmon Allen Miller Jr., Gainesville, Step-Son, Jerry Brooks, Gainesville, Daughter, Linday Key, Toccoa, Step-Daughter, Connie Smith, Blairsville, Brother, Billy Miller, Sisters, Ann Howard, Marietta, Estelle Hendrix, Lula, Inelle Scott, Gainesville, 19 Grandchildren, and a number of Great Grandchildren.
