Mark Seabolt

Mr. Mark Sanford Seabolt, age 55, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 following an extended illness.

Mark was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He always enjoyed his work as a poultry farmer. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his vegetables with the community and had a generous heart that loved to do for others. Mark was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church.

Mr. Seabolt was the son of the late Ernest and Bessie Sanford Seabolt, and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Seabolt Padgett; grandson, Joshua Seabolt; brother, Hoyt Seabolt and son-in-law, Marvin Padgett.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Brown Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA; son, Justin Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Angela Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA; brother, Henley Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Kendall and Debbie Seabolt, Dawsonville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katie and Dean Davis, Patsy & Ronnie Lingerfelt, Elaine and Homer Davis, all of Dahlonega, GA, Tina and Jack Lowman, Murrayville, GA, Susie and Shawn McCune, Summitville, IN, Gladys Rider, Gainesville, GA; sister-in-law, Anna Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Matthew Conner, Chasity and Jessica Seabolt. A number of other friends and relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mark are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. JR Fields will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 6 PM until 9 PM on Friday, April 19, 3 PM until 9 PM on Saturday, April 20 and 10 AM until time of service on Sunday, April 21.
