Wiley Edgar Barrett, Jr.

Mr. Wiley Edgar Barrett, Jr., age 81, of Nicholson, GA died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Barrett was born in Nicholson to the late Wiley Edgar and Nora Estell Alexander Barrett, Sr. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was retired from Seaboard Farms.

Mr. Barrett is survived by his wife, Evelyn Genene Wheelis Barrett of Nicholson; son, Tom Barrett of Nicholson and sister, Jeanette Dailey of Perry.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Sunday, April 21 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Stowers officiating. Interment will follow in Nicholson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 5 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Food Bank.
