Gloria Gale Nash Ray

Gloria Gale Nash Ray, age 66 of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Bo Whistnat officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Ms. Ray was born March 30, 1947 in Gwinnett County, Georgia to the late James C. Nash and Gladys Davis Nash. She was retired from Fieldale Farms as a Quality Inspector and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Auburn, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gene Nash.

Ms. Ray is survived by her daughter, Wendy Dunfee of Gainesville; son, Wesley Wilson of Gainesville; grandchildren, Casey Dunfee and Hannah Dunfee of Gainesville; sister, Janice N. Britt of Lawrenceville; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Mike Lynn of Buford; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sandra Nash of Conyers as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
