Doris Lee Watson Turner

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Doris Lee Watson Turner, age 81, of Jefferson, who passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.

Mrs. Turner was born in Jackson County, a daughter to the late Claude and Lilly Mae Gee Watson. Mrs. Turner was retired from Gold Kist Hatchery, was a homemaker and a member of the Pond Fork Baptist Church. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Turner, brother, Bill Watson, J.C. Watson, Cecil (Sprout) Watson, sisters, Nell Moore, Clara Mae Mangum, Kathy Allen.

Survivors include son, Gary (Elaine) Watson, Jefferson, Grandson, Shawn (Pam) Watson, Granddaughter, Jenie Buffington, great granddaughters, Paige, Hope and Hannah Faith Watson, Harlee Hogan, many nieces and nephews.

The Visitation for Mrs. Turner will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Evans Funeral Home.
