Melissa Seabolt Conner Padgett

Melissa Seabolt Conner Padgett, 33, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away peacefully at her home Monday April 15, 2013 following an extended illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and had worked in housekeeping at Chestatee Regional Hospital. She always had a beautiful smile and was a compassionate, sweet person that loved everyone, including her pets. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Melissa was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Padgett; son, Joshua Seabolt; grandparents, Ernest and Bessie Seabolt and Ben and Emma Brown.

She is survived by her parents, Mark and Regina Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA; son, Matthew Conner; daughter, Chasity Seabolt, Blue Ridge, GA; fiancé, Norman Bradley, Dawsonville, GA; brother, Justin Seabolt; and sister, Angela Seabolt, Dahlonega, GA. Several aunts and uncles and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Melissa are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell, Rev. John Graham, and Rev. Gwendell Gravitt will officiate.

Interment will follow at Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 5 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday, April 16, from 5 PM until 9 PM on Wednesday, April 17, and from 12 until service time on Thursday, April 18.
